Hi all,

I have a mobile connected to my BI installation and have configured Geofencing for it,.. am also using VPN.

VPN work fine with the app on the iPhone.

I have it configured to play a WAV file on entering the Geofence,.. and it used to work fine. Am unsure what's broken it, or when it broke.

Currently I see the following in the logs:

Code:
10    14/10/2023 12:31:15.901 PM    Server                  [::]: Connected
3     14/10/2023 12:31:16.256 PM    ColorVu                 MOTION_B
0 14/10/2023 12:31:17.819 PM Frontyard Push: OK to Jim's iPhone
10    14/10/2023 12:31:24.375 PM    Server                  [::ffff:192.168.0.20]: Connected
0     14/10/2023 12:31:24.377 PM    Geofence                Jim's iPhone 7plus: Inside
1     14/10/2023 12:31:24.843 PM    Action                  Alert sound error: -2147220906
3     14/10/2023 12:33:43.124 PM    FrontDoor               MOTION_B
Anyone know what the error code above means?

Sound plays fine from the BI admin client on the server.

I have it configured as below:

Suggestions?

Cheers,

Jim.....

Not really,.. mostly check things via the mobile app and UI3 via the browser. And RDP on to update to the next version as needed.

I ask because I've heard that RDP can booger the audio and the cure was to come back to the console and log in.:idk:

Oh ok,.. odd,.. not convenient to go console immediately, will try adjusting the audio settings of the RDP session and see what happens next time, maybe it'll do some wizardry.

Just an update,.. disabling the audio through RDP session seemed to have resolved the issue. Who'd have thunked that one?

@TonyR thanks for guiding in that direction.
