In my understanding, Hikvision NVR will activate all cameras that are directly plugged into its poe ports, say the NVR's password is 'pw1', then all the cameras will bear 'pw1' after they are activated. If I change my NVR password to 'pw2', what will happen to all cameras on poe?
Well actually, I know the answer already, the cameras still bear 'pw1', and strangely, the NVR still can connect to them even they now bear different passwords. My concern is, what if I can keep changing NVR pw to other versions, eventually, I will forget what is 'pw1', that means I will forget all cameras password for sure in the future.
Is there any mechanism to force all cameras to follow suit the NVR's password changing?
