I'm experiencing some issue with my installation.
I have a Cisco SG200-26P switch where I have attached some PoE Cameras (Hikvision and Trendnet) with a Cat5e cable length of about ~30m without any problems. In addition I have also attached two PoE access points, also without issues.
Since I wanted to install a camera in the garage monitoring my car, I had to install a separate PoE switch in the garage, since I have over 100m from cisco switch to the car, so I installed about 45m after cisco switch a Linksys LGS108P which should power up the camera with PoE, but still ~60-65m Cat5e cable from Linksys to cam.
The cam is a Trendnet TV-IP310PI.
The connection from cam to cisco switch is fine and I get 1000 Mbit full duplex (I also did a filetransfer from camera position to cisco switch and I had ~900mbit/s transfer speed). Camera is also connecting fine. The only thing is that the frame rate at highest resolution drops to 4fps and if I attach the camera directly on the cisco switch I have 20fps.
any idea what could be the reason for the fps loss?
