Hi everyone, maybe someone can help — out of the blue, the POE stopped working on most of the ports. The recorder is a DHI-NVR5216-16P-4KS2E. Only ports 5, 6, 7, and 8 are working, the rest have stopped. I checked the power supply — it provides the stated output. I performed a full reset — that didn’t help either. I also tried different firmware versions — no luck. Maybe someone knows what else could be causing this issue?

You did not share where you checked the power supply voltage(s). Ideal test point is on the ports themselves.
Many inexpensive PoE port testers available that makes testing simple. Or you could make your own cable and test the appropriate pins with a voltmeter

I have had (after 5-7 years or electrical storm) banks of the PoE switch go dead. Not entirely uncommon
Usually they fail in a bank of 4
Fortunately on the ones that have, I just plugged into a good working port.
I’m guessing those port modules could be easily replaced but not certain

If you don't have open slots on the NVR, a cheap POE switch will get you back up and running.
