PoE Question

Good evening,

This is probably a stupid question but I want to make sure I get everything clear because creating my build thus far has been quite a project.

I see some cameras require either electric/voltage or PoE.. is there ever a time where they would need both? I am guessing the option for both is for a UPS if it includes a power supply?!

No you will never need both...its there if not using a poe switch
