I am buying 3 Dahua IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E cameras along with their associated pole mount brackets from Andy. These cameras will be mounted on a pole in my backyard pointing to 3 different areas. I would like have the cameras zooming in so that it can capture clear images of passing-by cars' license plate numbers. These images can be useful someday. I am running Blue Iris on a Dell Optiplex 9020 i7 recommended by Federman on this forum.

I am looking for ideas for what type of pole I need and how to run CAT5e/CAT6 (burial type?) cable through the pole. Where should I drill a hole (2 holes: 1 near the bottom and 1 near the top of the pole)? I prefer to mount all 3 cameras on the same pole. I probably do not need infrared emitter for assisting these cameras since the areas have enough street lights.

I appreciate for an ideas/inputs/comments.

Thanks,
