poor mp to sensor match

i had a prev system with TVI .
i presume that even though it was an omnivision sensor which i understood were good it was 4mp on 1/3" sensor

is that basically same as 1/3.0 which is way smaller sensor that 1/1.8

if so , that will be why its rubbish , pixellation at night and even the ir in b&w is not great !

Yep that is a sensor designed for 720p

Which is why it was poor at night!
