I have a Chinese IP camera with a faulty PTZ and to help with sorting the fault remotely I want to port forward to the camera temporarily.

I have a static ip address so I set up forwarding xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8084 to forward to the camera web server on 80 at 192.168.3.175.

The forward brings up the logon screen and can I log on but no video shows and I can't see the device config tabs to go into the settings.

I'm guessing I have to set up some more forwards but not sure what. Any ideas?

you generally need to also forward the rtsp port.

Thanks, but sadly that's not worked.
