Possible to replay the sub stream ?

Hi folks. I couldn’t find an answer to this via search.
If I’m recording dual streams, is it possible to replay the sub stream via the iOS app?

larger and larger bvr files means recording a small clip is sometimes impossible as it asks too much of my mobile connection. Being able to record a clip of the sub steam would be the way to go.

u can always setup a duplicate camera for substream only and record that.

You can lower the resolution or bitrate that the mobile app plays in settings so it uses less bandwidth. If the default profiles don’t work for you, you can modify them in the desktop app settings.

Is there any advantage to recording both streams instead of just the main stream?

If you are using the iOS app's export capability, it is probably going to try to use the main stream without re-encoding. I'm not sure.

Yes. The recorded sub stream is used during multi-camera timeline playback and when streaming a low resolution through the web server.
