I have a couple 2CD-2532 cameras recording to a QNAP NAS and have had nothing but problems with the setup. The cameras will record for a day or two and then completely stop recording. I've messed around with the quota sizes on the shared folders and have set them each to 500GB. Was using NFS initially then switched to SMB to see if that would help. Still getting the same issue. This is a real problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to get these recording reliably?

I've used 2432, 2132, 2032 OK to a QNAP NAS with both NFS and SMB/CIFS.
Not sure about the 2532, and it varies with the camera firmware version, but the volume size may be implicated.
How are you setting quotas with NFS as there are no user credentials?
As an experiment, try a volume size of 200GB. You will need to 'format' it with the camera before using it.

I created 2 user accounts, one for each cam. Gave each user a 200GB quota than formatted each camera, both are showing status normal. Problem is, they will record for a while then I no longer see recordings. Not sure how to troubleshoot this.
