I have a Windows 10 Pro computer onto which I have installed SmartPSS. This is the latest International version from the DaHua website V2.00.1.R.20170225. After installing it, everything runs just fine. For a week or two. Then it has a failure to launch. When I double-click the desktop icon I get the cursor with the little spinny ball thing, PC-NVR starts and I see the splash screen, then more spinny ball cursor thing for a few seconds, and then . . . . .nothing. No error messages, no dialog boxes, no nothing. I have to completely uninstall SmartPSS and PC-NVR, and then re-install it to get it working again. I have also tried running it as administrator but no joy.
I am going to try the 1.6 English version again to see if it does this too, but from what I remember it does.
Any ideas what I can do to fix it?
