I agree 100% with you, hit them in the pocket book. The challenge is educating enough people at an early age of the meaning and importance of the National Anthem (because our schools have done a shitty job) to follow through with that plan. Just like anything, get enough people to make a stand and things will change.

Sure “unloved youth” is a portion of the problem, along with a father figure, discipline, DISCIPLINE, accountability, etc, etc. But, in the mean time, until Chicago gets their shit together, hold these people that are committing crimes in jail the full length of their sentence. The innocent, hardworking people shouldn’t have to suffer because some liberal Democrats DA wants to get re-elected and either let’s these people out of jail early so they can reoffend or doesn’t put them in jail at all.
