I have a Dahua Color4K-T. Apart from testing it; I haven't used it.
However, testing involved having it mounted (temporarily) on an outside wall for a couple of days. Don't remember if it rained during that time, definitely not much.

Since I don't have a use for it; I wanted to sell it. Just to check the thing; I plugged it in but it didn't power up.
When checking the RJ45-connector; some of the pins were a bit corroded, but pin #2 was bent flat.
That's why the camera didn't work. (Switch showed a POE connection, but no data)

I gently managed to get it back with a needle, but it was flimsy and ultimately the strip just literally fell out.
So this camera is now unusable, and certainly not sellable.

So PSA: Use protection when you test your camera's!

Now, I have to think of what to do with this camera. I've seen people cut the connector of and replace it with a keystone.
That could work for me, but the camera would be unsellable.

I've also seen replacement cables, but not sure if I can find one for the this particular camera and if it would make sense financially.

So there you have a bit of schadenfreude for you guys...

To add to your PSA, if one does not use dielectric grease in/on all outdoor Ethernet connections (male to female RJ-45's), I highly recommend it.

Issue was it was completely in the open; so water might have slipt in the connector.

But is there a replacement cable for this camera available anywhere?

I have a couple of cams out in the open, no problem in several years of use.
But, I always install the waterproof boot that comes with the cam, and always always use a dab of Dielectric grease on the contacts plus judicious use of drip loops.
Aliexpress is a good place to find replacement pigtails.
