PTZ camera installation problems

Now that i checked my switch it says its not giving Poe for the camera only data. could that be problem or is it because i have that power supply connected to it. Also shouldnt i be able to use it without power supply because my switch should be able to give more power than what that camera needs

Oh damn. I have made mistake... now that i was reading my switch statistics i realized that it does not give 60w on 1 port but 2 ports. so 30 each. is that the reason why it doesnt work or should it work with power adapter connected
The specs for that camera say 52W max so I'd use the 24VAC (?) power adapter you have to power the camera, not the switch.
BTW, what is the rating of that power adapter?

That looks OK to me, since Google tells me Finland is 230VAC @ 50Hz and the 2.5 Amp / 60VA labelling says it can supply the current needs of that camera.

Have you performed a hard reset of the camera?
If it has a place for a microSD card the reset button is generally under there.
And if there IS a card in there, I'd remove it.
If reset is successful, the default IP should be 192.168.1.64

No, that's only for RTC (Real Time Clock).

Im getting closer! I downloaded sadp tool again and now i can see hikvision camera! however my ip change was denied but now atleast i can send request to hikvision to give me security code.

If you are able to talk to the camera using SADP then you will want to make sure that you use the correct password then it should let you change the IP I would personally just setup the camera to DHCP so the Router can give it the right info for your network so you can access it over your NVR..

But isnt it asking cameras password? I dont know that and i cant reset camera because i dont have hard reset button (or i just cant find it). It only gives me this error

That camera seems not to have a Reset, This will need to be done either using a Forgot Password option if made access to the camera WebUI, I know you can't access it so yeah in this case you would need to setup your computer to use the same IP address as your PTZ camera Like 192.168.x.108 and setup your PC to 192.168.x.109 the X is whatever your IP range for the IP camera is. Once you setup you computer to the same network range and if the option is there like it is on some of my cameras it would take you to a QR code or to a page that you would need to copy and paste some Encrypted text into a email and send to Hikvision and they would email you back a Code that you would use to access the camera and then change the password..

Or another thing, If you happen to have that device or the other device in your Mobile App you might be able to access the app and either get the password or use the app to reset the password?

Sorry one last thing I have found so often others doing. have you tried the Default Password for the camera? I mean with it connected to a POE port of an NVR it might have been setup without even changing the Default Password..
