PTZ Setup Issues

Sorry to hear about your situation, I hope you can find a solution soon.

I am looking for a bullet camera. I don't think Zoom is crucial.

Bullet are nice, however domes give a "softer look"

From what I read following someone automatically can be dome with BI AI and a PTZ Camera. But I need to get the PTZ part working first. The other option I have considered is only using 1 PTZ and getting the inexpensive ones for the back yard.

I don't think following or tracking someone automatically can be done with any PTZ with BI.. it can only be done with the sd49225XA-HNR with a special firmware.


Another strategy is mix and match, buy one really good camera for the critical location, and buy some other cameras within your budget to supplement the other locations.
