Purchase Protection

I'm about to make my first camera purchase from China (Cantonk - yes, I know about the spam issue and are okay with it). They only take Payal.

If I was able to use my credit card, I'd have protections. Is there any way to protect myself using PayPal? I'm told that I lose my consumer protections using PayPal as a middle man.

You'd be protected too. I'd be more concerned about the fact the camera will be rubbish.

I will let you know how their return policy is. I had one of my 4MP cameras lose green for some reason. They had several techs connect to my cam and try to get it working through the interface with no luck. I ordered a replacement board and will ship the faulty one back to save on shipping and down time. I will update my thread on the camera with the results. The other two 4MP cameras are still going strong.
