Push notifications no longer working

There is an update 5.9.7.2 that I have installed now and push notifications are working again on android. That's already great but it seems that there is no preview alert image anymore in the push notification and even with another sound notification selected it still takes the default notification sound of the phone.

This has been caused by a change by Google's handling of push alerts.
The Blue Iris Author is working on a fix.
In the mean time, maybe look at this.

I am having similar problems with push notifications to the app. The strange thing about my case is that one of my four cameras still will send push notifications but the other three won't.
