I'm confused and am hoping for help. I ordered a couple of cameras from Amazon (Hikision DS-2CD2132F-IS) and with an external mic, can only get audio on v5.3.0 and not on the v5.2.5 and v5.2.8. I think these are Chinese cameras, and don't want to upgrade the firmware and have issues. Can someone help me in step by step of how to get the non v5.3.0 to work with audio? Thank you so much.

You have to change the streams to video/audio its on video by default
