QCam/Amcrest Firmware

I bought an nvr + 8 camera 2MP set (AMNV2M8-4B with IP2M-822E cameras) from meh.com a few months ago and am just now getting the time to set it up. I have had problems customizing the setup using the web-based interface and have had multiple conversations with Amcrest support where the tech says I need to upgrade firmware/software in order to gain access to the configuration options I need (enable audio, change camera passwords, etc.). The problem is that the level 1 techs can't seem to find my nvr or cameras in their system and have no idea where to find the firmware.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other places to find the firmware? Their level 2 tech support (Houston based) has failed to call me back at the times that have been scheduled.
