question on PTZ using ivms4200 or the standard browser interface

Hi,

I'm using the Mini 10x PTZ camera.

I'm viewing the stream via another software (for broadcasting).

Is it possible to turn off the stream on either ivms4200 or the HTTP web interface to the camera while still being able to control the PTZ? I don't want to have 2 streams to the computer, but need to be able to do the PTZ control and using the broadcasting software at the same time.

Is there a way to do PTZ control on its own, without having the stream view? Is there any way to control PTZ on the Huisun via its web interface, without having the stream turned on?
 
Not sure if it's possible, but I have a suggestion for you:

Simply set secondary stream to lowest possible setting, (bitrate set 32 kbps, 1 fps, 480p) You will still see the picture, but it's not going to make a huge impact on network
 
Thanks, that's an idea.

I was just wondering if there's any other application that can be used only for PTZ, so it also wouldn't take up too much real estate since I'm viewing on the computer and have another application doing the streaming.
 
Why not just make smal IE browser window, just enough so you can only see ptz controls
