Quicksync dependent on URL?

I got quicksync all working, but only when I use the h264 preview URL which looks like this

rtsp://adminassword@ip_address:554//h264Preview_01_main

the problem when I use that URL in BI with my Reolinks is that it cuts out..

IF I use the URL that allows the cameras to work solidly, all the sudden quicksync doesnt work at all...

/bcs/channel0_main.bcs?channel=0&stream=0&user={id}&password={pw} on port 1935

Arent both streams h264? How come the former is decoded by quicksync but the latter is not? Am I missing something?

yup I know. I've read alot about it. The thign is it works rock solid with the RTMP link in the configuration. Isnt that h264?

it is streaming h.264, but that doesnt mean HA will work with an rtmp stream.
