So, I have a resident raccoon and skunk that keep visiting my backyard, and sometimes dig up trying to get under my deck.
What to do? Train an AI to recognize skunks and raccoons and shoot lasers at them of course!
Well, blast them with Christmas lasers anyway... I'm hoping that will be enough for them to be like "wtf, I'll just go to the neighbors"
I trained it based on sample images and it's 94% accurate.
When BlueIris detects motion, it runs the Python script with my custom model. If it's night time, and detects a raccoon or skunk, it sends me a push notification on PushOver and turns on an outdoor outlet with my Christmas lasers plugged in.
