Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to set up my HIKvision camera for Solar power
and had a couple of questions about how to wire things up.
I'm planning to use a Renology 100 watt solar panel
paired with their 30Amp charge controller to charge
a UPG 35 Ah (85980/D5722) battery.
The things I'm unclear on is where to find an appropriate
power lead to connect the camera to the battery ?
( neither HIKvision or Renology seem to sell any )
And wether I would need any kind of a voltage regulator
or fuse to protect the Camera from any possible damage
due to power fluctuations by the battery ?
I'm considering buying a second AC/DC adapter for the camera
cutting off the wire from it & using that to connect to the battery
but that seems really cheesy.
Any advice on these two questions would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
