Ready to pull my hair out - QSee

So sounds like the issue is going to be IP related and the fact that you don't know the Password.. So don't know how that device normally works. With Dahua when you setup the cameras to the NVR they cameras take on the same password as the NVR.. However some other devices might start with what is called default password. This might be 123456 or admin and for qsee it could be even something different.. However I think it will be 123456 and could even be blank.. However the issue right now is you need to try and get your cameras either defaulted or need to at least change the cameras to DHCP if there is such an option.. With all the NVRs I own Have more then my share I can use what is called Virtual Host to log into my POE connected cameras.. Accessing the WebUI of the NVR I go to camera section and then in the connected area I click on the e and it takes me to a port on my NVRs IP address and lets me log into the camera directly. So if your old NVR was like this then you may want to do that and see if you can connect to the cameras network area and either change static ip to your 10.1.1.65 and up or at least turn on DHCP.. Your Amcrest NVR normally will start with 10.1.1.65 for ch1 66 for 2 and so on. Then at a point will go up to 10.1.1.128 on my 16ch NVRs that is normally on the second 8 ports.. But as long as the NVR sees the camera on the 10.1.1.65 or above it shouldn't have an issue as long as you know the password..

So keep this in mind..
Change IP address in camera or setup for DHCP
Password might be what you have setup for your QSee NVR right now or could be 123456 and or blank.. Once you get your cameras connected to your NEW NVR CHANGE THE DEFAULT PASSWORD from the default password to something that isn't default so others that may gain access can't access your cameras..

First thing to tackle is the IP address issue. IF they are Dahua or OEM and or Amcrest even the POE NVR would Hijack the IP auto no issue it is when you connect a different brand camera like your QSee cameras that the NVR can't Hijack your IP because it don't have the Auth to do so by design..
