Recently updated to BI 5.0 but BI 4.0 is still present

I recently updated to BI 5.0 from 4.0, and realized that 4,0 is still installed on my system and can run alongside 5.0. Is there any conflict here? Does one installation depend on the presence of an existing installation?

you can remove bi4, but first backup your bi5 because its likely the removal of 4 will delete you bi5 settings.

it will affect the registry that is why you are making a backup. You many need to reenter your key so make sure you have it. see the migration thread.
