Yep, I just broke my Laz-y boy recliner that I've had for around 10 years, and have had repaired numerous times. I had one previous to that for 30+ years that I stupidly gave away for the latest and greatest....

I'd like one with real hardwood, etc.. with a back that won't break in 6 months and a seat that won't break within a year. lol...

Whatcha all have?

We bought couch's that recline. They are dangerous when watching TV/Movies, I seem to always fall asleep in the middle. :) Plus, they have become my bed a few times when the wife sends me to the doghouse :)

I've thought about that, but this is in my basement, and without rearranging everything, I only have room for a recliner.

I like the Hancock&Moore, but sheeze... everything is so dang expensive anymore.

Think I'll re-purpose an old rocking armchair I have, and grab a foot rest or ottoman. Everything I read pretty much states anything less than 5k is going to break within 5 years. They just don't build anything worth a dang anymore.

Plus, I need a new mattress. Have had a serta memory foam for 7+ years and it's been sagging in the middle for a few years now. I'm tempted to go back to a spring/coil mattress or at least the hybrid version.

This massage chair has been in my thoughts since posted!
I feel like Homer Simpson with drool face "MMMMM Comfy!"
My wife and her sister got into one at a store. I heard noises from them I never heard before, hahaha Think they enjoyed them too much :), hopefully they did not leave any body fluids behind lol, ok, sorry, could of left that last part out...haha

Hancock&Moore make some great leather recliners, my dog and I can easily sit side by side in mine :) Mine is about 15yrs old and still looks like the day I bought it.

I'll second this recommendation. And add that they provide lifetime inner cushion replacement (at least they did when we bought ours in 1993). Ours is showing some wear (color loss) on the end of one arm. And it once required a replacement gas cylinder, which was gratis as a DYI fix.
