Hello guys ,

Lately i have been recording games on my pc but i noticed an fps drop . I did research on the internet and i found something called hd capture box ( its hard for me to got it since its so expensive in my country ) wich works as an hmdi recording device but with less fps drop . my question is can i use my dahua dvr as a recorder ( i have a smart tv hdmi pc cable connection no vga) ?

If it really is an older DVR that connects only to analog cameras with BNC connectors, then the PC would have to have composite video output (1.0v peak to peak, yellow RCA connector).
AFAIK, only that type of video output could be recorded relatively easily on a strictly analog DVR.

If it's a newer NVR that connects to IP cameras, then perhaps the easiest solution would be to use software such as DeskCamera to stream the PC's video as an ONVIF-compatible camera to the NVR. I haven't used DC but I read that it can stream not only the desktop but also user-defined windows on the PC.
