Hello,

I could not conclude from reading the user guide if one could record camera images to the SD card local to the camera and at the same to an NVR, or if it had to be one or the other.

Can someone shed light on this ?

Thx.

Hello,

is it also possible to record the camera images to the NVR and also to a Cloud-Service (e.g. FTP, NAS)

For me it's important to record not only locally.

Regards Bastian

I just did a test and I realized that if you save in sd card and NAS, not happen a mirror copy... but I'm not sure of this ... (perhaps does not synchronize immediately, I don't know)

You can record to both internal SD and NVR at the same time.

If the camera has internet access, you can also record on an external/remote NVR, cloud, whatever. You can not do that easily if the camera is connected to a POE port on the NVR, since it does not have (easy and direct) internet access.

No special "settings" needed, you just need to make sure your NVR can reach the cameras (you need to have fixed IP of DDNS working to manually add the cameras on the NVR, you need open ports, you might also set it up with a VPN so the cameras are not accessible by anyone who happens to find them, etc).
