recording with nvms7000, see hdd in nvms server, but not in nvms client

I am trying to set up recording for a single camera using nvms7000

Camera is setup and works in live view

I have set up a separate 500mb partition on a network computer

I can see the separate hdd in Storage Server/Remote Config/Storage/General and the globe is green at the main Storage Server screen

HDD status is red on Encoding Device screen and I don't see the hdd when I go to Encoder Device/Remote Config/Storage/ General

Am I missing a couple of steps?
