Remote Recording Skipping/Choppy

I recently moved my Windows based NVR offsite from the location where my cameras are physically located in the event someone attempts to steal the entire system.
I have 22 cameras installed at a commercial property and of course while on site on the same LAN, reviewing footage/recording of the cameras are perfect unlike when remote.

Cameras are Amcrest IP cameras: IP3M-HX2W for indoor and IPM-723B, IP2M-852W, IP4M-1026EW-28MM for outdoor.

I've opened the appropriate ports on nvr side(remote) and camera side(local) routers, upgraded router and bandwidth to 1000GBps down on nvr side and 20GBps up on the camera side.
Tried this process and both Blue Iris and Amcrest Surveillance Pro with essentially the same results.
5 cameras record remotely without interruption, skipping, or choppiness, but after the 5th camera and adding the 6th, the issues begin to take place.

The more cameras I add the more the recordings begin skipping and appear choppy.

There has been a ton of trial and error during this entire process and it seems I am at wits' end.

If there is any other information you all need to assist me with this please let me know.

What is the resolutions of the cameras, What is the frame rate of the cameras. What is the compression type.

Who is your internet provider and what are you paying for this service.

I doubt that you have 20GBps of your speed. it is more than likely 20Mbps. That is a big difference.

I think you should have the system locally and have a hidden realtime backup locally.

Resolution of cameras are 1080+
Framerate on all recordings is set to 12 fps
Compression for most is h.265 or h.264
ISP is spectrum on both sides and paying 380$ combined for both sites
Sorry for the mistake, its Mbps not GBps

My last hope is returning the system back on site honestly, but im wondering how do cloud service companies provide their services?

20Mbps is not going to support 22 cameras with any decent resolution and bitrate. To get 22 cameras to stream smoothly, the resolution, frame rate, and bitrate would need to be turned down so much that you wouldn’t have a viewable picture. You need to record on site

Figuring 1.0 GB storage per hour per camera. That is about 297,000 Bytes per second or 2.3 Mbps . For just the stream of one camera. The big problem becomes when there is a communication retry, This will cause lost data and will causes problems with other streams. A single camaera has a problem will cause lost data on all cameras do to an over loaded network.

Your system will not support what you want to do. You can try recording on motion only, with the motion processing done in the cameras. As long as there is not a lot of motion.

I assumed this could have been part of the problem, but not entirely sure.

The cameras are on motion capture, but there is a lot of motion, so i normally decrease the sensitivity, but based on the type of business being run there is constant motion, on interior cameras so essentially those are running continuously.

Im guessing ill have to make this a local system.

But now im wondering, assumming i wanted to switch to a cloud based service, the skipping would still persist working with these companies based on my own limitations. Correct me if im wrong
