Something I've always been curious about..
If I remove a camera, the clips stay. Will they eventually get deleted according to my aging settings?

Or what if I delete a old camera, then install a new one with the same name. Will that screw anything up with the database?

Just something I've always wondered about. I play around with different cams, and swap some of them around from time to time. Generally when I remove one, I'll go thru the clips and delete all associated with that old cam.

They age out as any others.

Don't think that it matters as far as the database goes. Seems to just rely on the name. You'll have old clips by that name showing that cam, new clips with that name showing the new. That's my recollection from deleting/renaming/cloning and renaming/having cams die and replacing with one named the same.

Cool. I didn't think it would be a big deal. Just something that crossed my mind every time I swapped out a cam..
