Updating my current security camera system with additional cameras to cover more areas.
Presently I have a 7 channel POE and Switch connecting to the network into a fast dedicated computer just for the cameras. I want to increase the camera number, possibly by 3 or even more soon. My present POE and switch hardware is topped out at 7 cameras. I am concerned that with adding more cameras, I will have an increased power POE device connected to the Swith to run the cameras properly.
Does anyone have any suggestions for maybe a 10 or 12 camera POE and Switch that is quality hardware in a reasonable price range??? I run Blue Iris on computer as the camera recording device.

Thanks for your time. :)

Nothing wrong with daisy chaining switches. Two schools of thought here. One is if you have multiple switches you don't lose all your cameras in a switch failure. Others say enterprise never die and just get one big one.
