I replaced another one of my Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras (3 megapixel bullet with 4mm lens). Its replacement is one of the much-adored Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)
For now, I'm using the starlight camera fully zoomed out, which makes it a little wider than the original camera. Here is a daytime comparison, Hikvision on the left, Dahua on the right.
I am extremely pleased by the results so far, and expect to be once again amazed by the night performance.
This is at night, and I believe both cameras are being affected somewhat by IR reflecting off the siding.
