Hi I bought 4x IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and 1x HFW5231E-Z12E from Andy in 2018, one of the cameras died after my network switch (PoE) went down due to power outage, I would like to replace the dead camera and would like to add 3-4 more, what would you recommend? I am happy with IPC-HDW5231R-ZE in terms of resolution but I am ready to consider even higher resolution and even better night vision option if there is one available at least for couple of cameras, otherwise I will be happy with a cost effective replacement for HDW5231R-ZE.

Go for a 4MP camera with a 1/1.8 sensor. check reviews.

Is IPC-T2231T-ZS good replacement for HDW5231R-ZE?
Looks Like HDW5442T-ZE is 4MP top performer varifocal turret. I guess will buy at least 1 or 2 of these and rest would have to be replacement for HDW5231R-ZE.

Thank you guys, I guess the difference between IPC-T3241T-ZAS and IPC-T2231T-ZS is that 3241 has audio and 2231 does not? They both appear same to me rest of specification and based on Looney2ns review of 2231 it is definitely an improvement over my original HDW5231R-ZE cameras.

Yes, audio is the major difference between the 2231 and 3241. I have a couple of 2231s and 3241s and actually like the video from the 3241 better than from the 2231. That's not to say the 2231 is a slouch at all, just that the 3241 seems to have better color registration and "crispness". Subjective as heck, but what my tired old eyes see.
