It's sad but IMO, there's a rapidly increasing number of people that when their feet hit the floor in the morning their first conscious thought is "...let's see...what can I get today for free, what can I take that doesn't belong to me, what can I have without exerting much effort or what can I get someone else to do for me."
Some learn this at an early age from their parents...often a parent's attitude is they don't encourage or condone such acts but their lack of intervention when they witness it or find out about it is the same as approval....especially when the offspring KNOWS that the parent knows their activity.
