Reset and Start Over with BlueIris

I'm replying only to have a link back to this thread. I am still on v3, and will be purchasing and upgrading to v5, from scratch. I don't think there is anything special for me to do besides setting up all my cams again, but I'll figure that out. My initial install was over a decade ago, so probably time to start over.
 
Status Report:

It's been 10 days since I did a clean install of Blue Iris. Other than a single "Receive buffer bottleneck", which seems like a fluke since it was on my 2MP license plate camera, I've seen none of the issues that have been plaguing me for months on the releases newer than 5.7.8.3 (8/4/2023).

Considering that I imported all of my camera settings, it seems apparent that my issues weren't due to camera settings.
I have to wonder whether regestry settings or some remnant in the file system was the culprit.
