Hi there,

I have a Dahua VTO2000 with 2 VTH 1550CH (1 master and 1 slave)

The slave is getting its IP 192.168.1.108 from the VTO, but the master VTH1550CH which is suppoed to get its IP 192.168.1.9 is NOT and is presenting a black screen at reboot, where the leds are ON at the back.

It is also not presenting the "Welcome" screen at boot ...

Is there something I need to check or a way I can reset this VTH1550CH ?

Many thanks !!

VTH1550CH started because LEDS are on at the back, but black screen ...
Ping to 192.168.1.109 responds, but device is not appearing in VPV Config neither ...

Is there a known wau to hard reset the device or get it back ?

Many Thanks !

I hope you had another idea ... far too complicated ...
It just appeared back on my VDP Config, after I changed the port where it was connected to ...
I changed the port back and it is disappeared again and I have no luck to make it reappear now ...

Hello, your advice saved one VTH1550CH form brick.
However, I noticed I cannot downgrade it to FW version: General_VTH151X_Eng_P_V4.000.0000.0.R.20180622, it will not flash properly.
I succeeded to flash version: General_VTH151X_Eng_SIP_V4.300.0000000.8.R.20190316

Now I am trying to flash one VTO2000A-S1, but that device does not show IP 192.168.1.108 while booting (I use constant ping for detection).

Are you sure about the 192.168.1.108? Try 192.168.0.108 too. And ConfigTool from Dahua is able to scan different subnets too.

Everything went OK. Although ping does not detect that interface when I started TFTP it picked up update and I restored both devices.

Importan notice for everyone. If you are downgrading firmware with Dahua tool be sure to check option "clear config". Without it I both of my devices ended up in boot loop.

If I did not found this guide they would stay bricked. Many thanks.
