Hi guys,

I'm hoping you might have an idea of how I can reset my intercom (x2) & doorbell, so I can get them working over WiFi again (e.g., being able to answer the call on the phone).
I downloaded the hikvision software (IVMS-4200) onto my computer, connected, then I changed the default password and cannot for the life of me find it anywhere.

Before I messed things up, I did have it working (calls come through on the phone when someone rings the intercom) but haven't had any luck fixing it myself or finding these credentials.

These are the two that I have:

Now when I visit Device Management -> Device -> Online Device I can see two intercom IP addresses. One has hik-connect enabled, and the other disabled.
When I open the hik-connect app on my phone, I go Add Device and one intercom comes up (the one with hik-connect enabled) and I select it. But now it wants a username and password that I just can't find anywhere.

Appreciate any advice on this!

Cheers,
MF

EDIT: Right after posting this, I had another look for the password and managed to find it! It's all sorted now, thank you anyway!

You need authorized installer level account on hpp to do password resets, or well get in touch with somebody who got access to reset server. And in order to reset it, you need to download SADPTools and export device xml file . This is needed for reset.

Also your nickname works well for email outros
