Price is approximately $250 and available here: Model #
PTZ3E405-Al

  • 1/2.8" 4Megapixel CMOS.
  • 5x optical zoom.
  • Max. 25/30fps @ 4M.
  • IR distance up to 50m (164.04 ft) (IR).
  • Warm light illumination distance up to 30m (98.43 ft) (Warm light).
  • SMD 3.0 ; Perimeter protection ; Face detection.
  • Alarm: 1 in, 1 out; audio: 1 in, 1 out.
  • Built-in Mic and Speaker for Two-way Talk.
  • 12 VDC/PoE power supply , IP66.
  • Sound and light alarm (red and blue lights).
This camera is a good budget PTZ, at night with IR it does decent, at night in color mode and using the White light, not so much, it requires additional light.
You won't be able to compare this to the higher end models because of it limited processing power.
Autotracking is ok, but is for humans only, does not track autos.
Tracking works better the closer the subject is to the camera, at a distance it lost tracking frequently.
Audio is ok, works fine with BI and ONVIF triggers.
Fairly quiet when its moving.

Night video. Video goes from using IR and B&W in auto mode, to manual shutter set to 1/100, to using color and the Warm lights.
As with most of these TIOC cams, the red and blue lights flashing is a gimmick.
The audio alerts work well an can be understood even with my crap hearing.

Daytime with a manual fixed shutter of 4ms.

Nice review! Normal quirks with tracking. I was impressed that it did not lose you once when you walked behind the bush.
Funny, I was watching the night video and the wife asked when I did that. Once she noticed that you had a shirt on then she knew it wasn't me.
You got a workout doing those.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks a lot for @looney2ns great review, this is a cost saving for mini ptz on the market, we test this one at looney's place which has very poor light in the night, looks like the IR mode the camera is working bit good.
Autotracking ,always the bigger PTZ will have faster, Pan/tilt/zoom/foucs

If you would be so kind sir, what is the approximate distance from the camera, to say, your trash receptacle/bin. Thank you for this review.

50' to the curb at the end of the drive.
Thank you, very much appreciated, It should work ok for me I only need about 30. Thank you very much :)

it appears to show this mini PTZ camera with a 180deg panoramic camera combination.
