RJ45 connectors - are they all the same?

I recall in my stint in Naval Air there was the unit "RCH"........well, you can read for yourself, the first entry:

From my earliest experience, the order of magnitude is this:

• an RCH
• a smidge
• a skosh
• a little bit
• a fair bit

A scad of RCHs is a smidge.
A scad of smidges is a skosh.
After that, you're on your own.

a smidge is Imperial and smidgen is metric...or is it the other way around?
RCH is pretty much universal......
