Rotate & Mirror causes interlacing artifact in alerts & clips - BI4

I have a Loryta IPC-E3541F-AS-M from Andy mounted in hallway mode looking at my front door from inside.

I have to rotate it 270° and mirror it to make it look like I want. When I do that the alerts and clips all get messed up with triplets in bad interlaced artifacts that make it unusable. I can view it live without issue just the recordings are messed up.

When I remove the mirror (flip left/right) it seems to work fine.

Any idea why this is?

I was able to mirror inside the camera interface and it looks like it is working in BI. Never seen that before.

Not quite the same issue, but probably similar enough that the fix will correct yours...
