I've installed a couple at my parents house (eap245). They work fine. I use their software controller hosted on a computer at my parents.
I have Unifi APs at my house (but that is the only Ubiquity devices I run). Honestly I have probably had more issues with the Unifi stuff than the TP-Link.
I currently use an old Ubiquiti Security Gateway, but to regain full bandwidth I would have to disable the intrusion detection / prevention setting. I'm considering upgrade to a UDM Pro since it is rack-mountable; I find it very stupid that this does not support ONVIF. I thought about the UDM (non-Pro) but is not rack mountable and no practical way for me to connect at my setting
