is based on popular open source video viewer, called "VLC". So, you can add any stream/source, even a file.

I currently use VLC to get quick access to specific camera streams without having to load up the full-blown viewer software.

I've always wanted to be able to see multiple stream at once through VLC without running multiple instances.

I've downloaded and will trial over the weekend.

Any reason why you are using an older x86 version of VLC? Since Version 3.x of VLC hardware acceleration is supported which helps lower CPU usage greatly. Displaying multiple hi-res streams will be very taxing on the CPU without hardware acceleration.
