Hi. New to IP cameras, but not to networking.

My immediate interest is in remote monitoring of a live-alone family member who is in the pre-institutionalization stage of Alzheimer's disease.

We are currently monitoring:
- Garage Door status, via LiftMaster/Chamberlain MyQ opener with Internet Gateway (email, SMS, iPhone App).
- Land line phone on/off hook status, via Obihai OBi 110. (Syslog server, email, SMS)

Need/Want to add:
- video (mostly indoors)
- motion detection
- 2-way audio
- asleep-awake monitoring and/or auto-detection, based on breathing or snoring.
- front door status: opened/closed, locked/unlocked (deadbolt)

Currently doing the research.
