Sat TV mast install vs. Soffit?

I was thinking of a camera in this area: see photo.
Previously I've mounted cameras on the soffit, but here I think it would be easier to install on the short mast of the Satellite TV antenna.
Will this work OK or can anyone foresee any issues?

I have cameras on 2 satellite dishes, 1 also has 2 IR lights mounted on 1 dish. I have had no issues.

Just ensure you mount the cam on the vertical arm, not horizontal arm
