My Internet connection is satellite based. My ISP (Xplornet) uses an internal NAT architecture, which effectively maps all satellite based users through a single common IP address. Accessing the Blue Iris web server remotely from outside the LAN can only be achieved with a tunneling application. I've had pretty good success with PageKite. Pagekite basically provides me with a public name, ie: MyBlueIris.pagekite.me, which maps all queries made to my Blue Iris web server through their front-end relay to connect to my Blue Iris server localhost port. Pagekite also provides the back-end connector that must continuously be running on the web server platform to complete the tunnel.

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar connection issue, and if so, what tunneling s/w was used. I am having intermittent connection issues, and I am not sure if it is related to the tunneling application or inherent latency of the satellite service.
