Saving time lapse to web site

I tried to set up an 8 hour time lapse using "alt/time lapse" and "combine/cut video" After 8 hours it should ftp the video to my weather web site. You can see the "clips and archiving" panel below. The problem is the video is not saved in the subdirectory "new" or my web site which I have set up in "queue for backup". The ftp site is working because I "post" a jpg to the site every 2 hours. What is wrong? Thank you.

Did you configure the camera to record continuously?

Also I'm not sure you are doing yourself any favors configuring a 7 day age limit in the New folder and having the "when full" action be to move it to the … New folder. (to be fair you might not have realized what that meant).
