In my setup I am going to get IPC-HFW5231E-Z5, IPC-HDW5231R-Z and IPC-HDBW4231F-AS.

Can these cameras record to a SD Card and to BlueIris simultaneously? Are there any drawbacks on this, such as lag, studder, etc?

Which SD card do you recommend?

I would like the SD card to record in case blueiris crashes or someone damages the box

Thanks

it's all in your camera setup, how well you have motion detection set up, how often it triggers, etc. 64GB will be plenty! just make sure the camera can support an SD card that large. I ran 8GB cards in the cameras at my old house, they were cheap to replace and usually held a week or more worth of footage depending on the cameras activity, I considered that to be enough time, if something happened to the NVR such as theft or destruction.

Thanks for your input. I will probably want 24/7 recording. If I can get a few days out of it, I will be happy. It would be in the rare instance that something happens and my BI box was unable to record it.
