£1,285.37 from Andy - ouch!!
Please let us know your results and share some video samples, if possible. Very interested in how it works!
Just curious, how/what purpose are you planning to use it for? Obviously would make for a fun hobby to see the skyline 10+ miles away in good weather, but wondering how a 275mm zoom lens would have any useful benefit for most industries (considering long distance views will be subject to weather/haze interference, as well as trees, buildings and earth curvature blocking long distance ground surface views).

This will go on my mobile rig for testing, and then I am sure it will find it's home to replace the SDAE830. This cam has a excellent picture until you get all the way zoomed in.

I received the new SD10A248V-HNI and I can say this is MUCH bigger than it looks in the pictures, this thing is big. I did have to get a power supply that is 120Vac to 24Vac 5a (that is not easy to find) It shipped with a 230v 5a. Could of used Hi POE but I already have wire ran to it location where it will go.
A little nervous about where to mount it at 51 lbs. I hope to install on it on my mast to do some testing this weekend.
I did start it up to see if they added any new features to the PTZ. I will add some video samples soon.
It looks like customs didn't believe it was a cctv cam

The support bracket compared to a SD6 arm.

The firmware does have the intelligence feature that allows tracking without rules.
It also has image ranging that I have not seen before. I would assume that it works with laser and not IR LED

This one too big shipping weight is 35KG, i thought only 13kg, lol...Jeff is a nice guy, he posted here for sharing, thanks for his effort. @jmcuFor United States folks, that equals $1700
It suits for a big place and can save money for using many cams, esp for big projects, so not suits for normal home using. This video was very nicely done! That zoom range is incredible. Almost as incredible as the size of the camera.
