This model doesn’t have auto tracking.
I’m pretty sur than auto tracking is just switch off in firmware.
Does an expert in dahua firmware can’t check please ?

Who told you this one has auto-tracking??? This one not support, if need autotracking, go to SD59225U-HNI SD6CE225U-HNI, SD6CE230U-HNI Or SD6CE245U-HNI

Ok not supported, i’m asking if it’s only firmware « lock » or some hardware is really missing

If it were just firmware, the manufacturers could sell more expensive versions of the same camera, and eliminate some of their product line saving money by including auto tracking. I really doubt it's just firmware as the auto track feature tracks very precisely and zooms in or out depending on the situation. That requires higher zoom ability and PTZ smoothness which is hardware based. JMOP.

Good point. The pan on this model is pretty slow (and noisy!) compared to PTZ models that auto track.
